Kelly Jo Clark
I began my journey into this crazy wonderful thing called yoga in 2010 to physically rehabilitate from an injury, and I found myself coming back to my mat more and more because of the mental clarity and sense of inner calm I noticed after each class. I’ve found that by observing the way our minds work in both stillness and in a difficult asana practice, we can learn a lot about ourselves as humans. We can learn to let go of judgement and criticism and become stronger– mentally, and physically.
I aspire to create a place within my classes that empowers you to make your practice your own, to have the freedom to explore, and to simply be yourself. A safe place to drop into your body and tune out mental chatter. My classes tend to be mentally nourishing, somewhat physically challenging, and accessible to everyone. I hope you come just as you are, and that you leave my class feeling a little stronger, mentally lighter, and with a bit more calmness to carry with you into the rest of your life.
I hope to see you on the mat!
